First off, don't talk so crazy! If you can get a Panny 8000, DO IT!
It is a Incredible machine....and even though I've been a staunch advocate of Epson's 8350....well, there is no comparing the two projectors....there just ain't no sense in it.
With the Panny 8000 in the room you describe, go for a 2.0
mix. ( 2 oz. Colorant )
Well, honestly, the AE8000U is really really pushing my budget. Quite honestly, I think I am in the $1,800-$2,000 max limit for now. :-( With this being said, if I am going to replace my 8350, the new PJ must comply with the following:
2.35:1 capability without need for external lens
$1,800-$2,000 price range
Seems like the BenQ W7000 fits the bill. Would that be a good choice for my immediate needs?
BTW, I think really want to keep the screen as is (4.0 colorant). Thing of beauty and don't want to mess with it.
Thanks again, MM.
