I finally got around to calibrating my HC4000 picture with the Avia 2 DVD - my bulb has approx. 1000 hrs. on it - and figured it was time to give it a go.
My screen is a grey, low gain 80" Focupix and I can control the light in my room very well at night.
I came up with the following settings for the standard adjustments with the bulb on normal power:
Contrast +24 (I found this test pattern very subjective)
Warm (as per Avia's instructions)
Sharpness -2 or -1 (I had a tough time deciding between these 2 numbers)
Brilliant Color off
I was wondering what you all think of these settings based on my setup...
