I just built a new pc that I wanted to use as a HTPC/gaming/ media server. I was going to use my old pc as a dedicated htpc. I bought a AGP ATI 4670 for the old pc to give me hdmi. I connected the old pc to my RCA LCD ld32hd32d (with hdmi only to find no video after win 7 boot. VGA still works well. I thought no big deal being i was going to use my new pc anyway and i read the AGP car was finicky anyway. Well I connected the TV to my new PC with a ATI 5770 only to find no video over HDMI, not even during POST. If i unplug it and plug it back in it works very poorly (Green hue and off center). I'm hoping for better, but I believe my TV is just a POS and I need to upgrade.
