Receiver question for new home theater...

Thread Starter
Hi guys. Pretty new here. I am building a home theater now consisting of JVC RS60, PSB 3x CW800E in walls, PSB 4x CW260 surrounds, 2x 12" Velodyne Optimum and am stuck on receiver or separate choice. I would like an NAD preamp/amp but they are dragging their asses bringing their 1.4a products to market. Last I hear is end of May but who knows. The flagship Onkyo seems pretty nice but I am unsure as to how it would compare to NAD with such a lower MSRP of $2699. Denon's flagship will not be updated to 1.4a until October. I would like to stay somewhat in the high end/reference range of products here. Does anyone have any opinions on this matter or suggestion of a brand that I may not have thought of?

The Denon 4311 is a very nice receiver with MultiEQ XT32 and you could buy the Audyssey pro kit if its not expensive enough. If you want another brand to look at, the Anthem MRX900 is a nice receiver that has HDMI 1.4

Check out Integras line. Maybe the DTR 70.2 or 80.2. Very nice receivers with great sound.

Tough to lose when you are looking into those products. I like both suggestions above for denon and integra. Also mayb look into Anthem.
