If you are worried about "price" more than anything...
Add the Intgra DTR 5.8(or higher...6.8, 7.8) and the Onkyo TX SR605(705/805) to your list.
Much easier to use than the Denon. Yes they are one year older and you'll have to buy used.
Other than H/K's Ebay store, have no clue where you are getting a 1600/2600(the 2600 is well worth the extra money), but if going that route check out the 254/354 as well.
In Denon, look for 790/890/990 as well. The 790 from the 1910, you lose "speaker B". On Ebay, I've seen the 890 and 990 sell for under $400(doesn't happen often). You could also go one year older, but stick with "higher" models(889, 989) or at the "beginning" of HDMI 1.3...(988)
