Randon Green dots on my new Sony kdl55hx800 TV

Hello evreryone: I need some help, I just bought a new 55 inch LED tv and when I watch SD broadcast via Dish Network PVR I see randon small green dots on screen that appears for a few secs and moves away. It does not happen whne I watch HD broadcast or dvd or live on line stream.

Here is my set up:

Sony KDL HX800 55 inch LED TV
Denon AVR 1911
Dish PVR 922
Evrything is hooked up via HDMI to the receiver first than to the tv, thinking if it is the upscaling issue from my receiver or not.

My last TV ( 55 inch Sony back projection LCD) which was hooked up via my old Onkyo receiver via HDMI also did the same and I always thought my TV was getting old and that is why it was doing it.

This new receiver is capable of HDMI 1.4 do I need to get new HDMI cables? I am using all old HDNI cables .

Any help?

Does the same thing happen if you hook the dish network receiver directly to the TV? Also what output resolution are you using from the PVR to the receiver? What output resolution are you using from the Onkyo receiver to the TV (should be set to native)?

Sounds like a handshake issue to me.

There are many people on these forums that can provide you with the correct explanation for "handshake issues" but I have experienced them with my Sammy's and monoprice port savers. Once I removed the port savers the green and red dots went away.
I have recently had a handshake issue with a HD Camcorder Mini Hdmi and all three of my Samsung Tv's. When I plug the same cable in to my Son's Vizio....no issues.

Do a search for Handshake issues.
