No, you have it wrong.
What i stated was to use the blue only mode to set the correct colour starting point before you calibrate.
If i set my colour and tint(leave cms on auto) using chromapure it tells me that colour should be on 43 and tint r49/g51 now if i use the blue on mode its totaly different 51 colour and tint r46/g54.
If i leave the colour and titn on default 50 r50/g50 and use the cms and set up and then test colour and tint its bang on(and the delta erros are better)
And i have found this to be the case with the smsung plsmas i have clibrated.
Im not sure how chromapure works as i dont have it, only Calman and HCFR.
However I never start using the calibration software until i have set the basics, brightness, contrast and colour using the excellent AVS HD dvd.
