For those looking for new Samsung 2010 3D glasses

Check these out:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QZ1LKS

I bought a pair to replace the pair my cat fried and I'm pleasantly surprised. I was playing MK and in the Shrek movies as well, I didn't notice any ghosting at all. With the official Samsung 3D glasses, while I don't notice much, there is just a little bit. Never enough to distract me, and I have to really look for it. But I was really looking for it with these glasses and couldn't find it! And for only $50 a pop, and being rechargeable, they're hard to beat. They're comfortable too. They come with interchangeable nose pieces as well, and they're lighter than the Samsung glasses too.

I'd suggest checking em out!

Thanks Bandit! Have been waiting quite a while for reasonable glasses, just ordered some. Now if Dish would just acknowledge 3D........

Sure, no problem! Let me know what you think of them. Hopefully your experience is as good as mine.

I wonder if these block the DLP Link signal and make blacks look black on legacy sets. Something tells me the answer on both counts is NO.

Are you specifically looking for IR glasses? Or are you open to DLP Link glasses too? I'm sure you're aware of the Ultraclears, so I'm guessing the former, but thought I'd offer the suggestion just in case you weren't aware of them.

I have DLP Link UC's already. Just checking out the alternatives as I'm still looking for something better.

These active glasses are great and when you consider the price they're incredible.

They look good with a black gloss finish. the don't look oversized like some do. They look light and yet reduce light intrusion from the side.
They function very well they never lose the IR signal and reacquire it if you leave the room.
They don't reduce the brightness as much as either Samsung IR active glasses.
The best feature is I've noted some reduction in crosstalk or Ghosting.

Don't hesitate to go for these glasses.

Agreed with the majority of your post, except for the not losing IR signal part. It doesn't happen often but it's definitely happened. But it's very brief and picks it back up again fast, so it's never enough to impact the viewing experience.

I wonder how they compare to these: http://www.ultimate3dheaven.com/adult.html

I've had these for 2 weeks and think they are better than their Samsung equivalent! They just seem to fit better and my wife likes the styling much more. As far as x-talk and/or ghosting? Maybe slightly better than my Sammy 2100 series. I don't believe they get as dark as the Sammy's when activated. I have had ZERO issues w/ losing sync, but haven't bad a problem w/ the Sammy's either for the most part. I'd rate them 5 outta 5 stars!

Anyone seen any other deals on 2010 glasses for Samsung?

So, are these glasses still the best representative of the glasses out there, for the money or not, for the 2010 3D Samsung guys?

I like them a lot. Although I prefer the battery powered versions to the rechargeable ones. That way you're not stuck if you lose power in the middle of a movie and batteries for these are less than $1.00 a piece.

Should have commented on this a few months ago. I bought these glasses. They are on par with the Samsung ones.

I'm looking for a new pair of 3D Glasses for my 2010 Samsung. I have 2 pairs of the Ultimate 3D Heaven ultra clears and I have been very happy with them. I thought this time I might try a rechargable model.

The same site has these which I am considering: http://www.ultimate3dheaven.com/adult.html

But I was on Google and found another site called 3D Glasses Unlimited that have 2 models I am also interested in:

http://3dglassesunlimited.com/shop/g5-universal-3d-glasses-by-quantum-3d-ir-bluetooth-compatible/
http://3dglassesunlimited.com/shop/universal-3d-glasses-by-blick-active-shutter-ir/

Anyone have any thoughts on any of these 3 models?
