HDTV in Colorado Springs

I tried posting this question on another thread but was not able to get a reponse so I'll try it here.

Does anyone know when ANY of the stations in Colorado Springs will start broadcasting an HDTV signal? I've sent emails to all of the local stations asking this very basic question and the only response that I got was from the local CBS affiliate stating that they had applied for an extension from the FCC regarding their digital broadcast.

It's a simple question, WHEN?

I get the feeling that words with four letters are too difficult for these people to understand.

If anybody has heard anything, please let me know!

This was asked last year I believe, that ALL of their antennas are on Cheyenne Mountain, and they should not have the issues as Denver...but what do I know: this is from titantv:

ABC 24 KRDO-DT FCC Extension
FOX 22 KXRM-DT FCC Extension
CBS 10 KKTV-DT May 1 2002
NBC 42 KOAA-DT May 1 2002

Why they want an extension is a mystery, as they all should be live
on May 1st.
