I would like to tell my experience:
I contacted because I was interested in Sunway 2 fp 14000, a 2800 and a crossover, I have immediately sent the bill, but there was an error in the amount of 14000, up one $ 50 more than the attached pdf file with all models .
Reported the problem they sent me the corrected invoice.

On the Italian site of Western Union could not send more than 500 €, and the old Western Union could send a maximum of 1500 euros ..
I felt the problem sanway, asking to buy only 2 FP 14000 and I did not get more responses! I also sent an email a day later .. but no answer!

Will earn less because they were evil?

Most factories are closed for the Chinese New Year. Maybe you did not get a response because they are also closed.

I was told that they are closed till 31 januari
post #1204 of 3108
Yeah Chinese new year is a big deal.

Yup, it's equivalent to our Christmas and new years. Most places take at least a week off.

The Sunons are 60 cfm, 46 dBA. They're loud. Very high quality fans for a pro sound app, but too loud for HT environment.

Just joined the club. My 14k should be here next week.
would it be terribly bad to run one of these on a pair of tempests that only really need 2000 watts to operate? at least until I get the 18"ers going here pretty soon?
Nope. Just don't push them too far.

Lol

ok so far ive gone through around 20 of the pages.

and i see that there hasn't been a great lot of problems.
which is always good.

Im currently look at the FP10000q for Live production for bands.

Currently i don't have anywhere near the amp's to power my current speakers.
Currently running, 1x Crown XLS802D, 1x Behringer EP1500

Speakers:
2x 2" AT professional horns (made in brisbane australia)16ohms
2x 2" Martin audio horns in (philishave Shape)8ohms
4x 2x12" Martin Audio Philishaves (made back in 1970) Still fully original with drivers and phasebungs.4ohms
2x 15" Martin Audio Long throw subs 8ohms
1x 18" Technical pro frontloaded sub 8ohms

The Subs i will be upgrading to Dual 18"s and be running 4x dual 18"s 4ohms

and to run this all i will need 4x FP10000Q
4x channels subs(1chan per sub)
4x channels mids(1chan per mid)
4x channels Highs(1chan per horn)

which leaves me
4x channels for band fold back

which i currently have 4x 10"mid with 1" horns speakers. 8ohms

and foldback will be upgraded too at some stage,
hope to run 6 speakers across front of stage 2x per channel for 3 channels
probably 15"+2", and
1x single 15+2"(fullrange) with 8ohms
1x 15" sub on the bottom 8ohms

now before people say the amps won't be balenced or too powerfull,
the system will be limited with a DBX Crossover
at 2000WRMS a sub, 300WRMS a mid and 150WRMS a top.
amps will run easy and smooth. and rest of system runs nicely with no need for boosting audio signal anywhere.

Regards James

Just wanna make sure im reading the dip switches correctly.

I have the gain at 44db's, in stereo mode, with the VCL at 150v for both channels, and the mode switch is set to HARD for both channels correct?? Can anyone confirm this please?

I just got mine back in. Threw in the rack...and noticed something as I went to play with the vcl settings.

Greg doesn't have the same amp.

Now what problems may we have here?

Just my freaking luck.

Can't tell from the picture, but the silk screening does say 220v. Who knows what they swapped inside. I'd ask them?

They match my amp. Then again. my VCL numbers are on a sticker, and not silk screened.

Hey Greg, I think you did get the 220v version.

Here's a pic of the rear plug on mine:

I mean, seriously. It is still pouring on me.

I love how my IPOD just died too. Though it was 5 years old. I can hear the hard drive clicking...

So, I wonder, if you plug a 220V amp, with a 110V plug, into a 110V outlet, on a 15A circuit (Archaea's house?)......does it just shut off and burn out? I don't do electronic math. I haven't turned it on since it got "fixed" since I don't know what to expect. Just have it sitting there in the rack.

Johnson, Tang's move.

I emailed him the pictures and said I think I got the wrong amp.

Below that on the chassis label says 220v, could fall by mistake.

If the amplifier is in 220V and 110V plug it simply will not turn on, it's all bad. If you turn this on 110V.

It seems the configuration of a fp10000q vcl, although I have not seen the fp7000. This amplifier fp14000 says on the front?

Keep in mind they use the same chassis for different amps. When there are different settings, they put a sticker over the silk screening that's on the actual amp. I bet if edogg were to peel off his 120v sticker, it'd say 240 underneath.

Righ on the money boss. Took a peak under the 120v tag and sure enough, 240 underneath it.
