Lab Gruppen FP14000 clone amplifiers - Page 47

So, why are you having to change the fuses? Was this a mistake by sanway and you just so happened to catch because you opened the amp after being concerned with the power cord? I havent heard of anyone else having to do this with the 220v models.

I really want a couple of these and have already spent a crap load in wiring for them now after seeing this I want to pay NOT to check and do upgrades to them. NOT, You think we can work something out man? May have to send him a PM after I completely understand what is going on here.

You can use a DVM to measure the voltage across the terminals. You can take the screw as GROUND lead of your DVM.

Thanks for the info. The unit has not been plugged in since I received it so I'm assuming I should be safe. I'll measure just to be sure before I do anything.

I was just concerned since it came with a standard 125V/15A plug and a 30A fuse installed. The documentation Sanway sent me has instructions for converting from 110V to 220V. It states to replace the included fuses with ones rated for 15A and to redo the jumpers on the amplifier board. The jumper was correctly set from the factory, but the fuses were incorrect. I'll have to remove the amplifier module to validate the fuses on there when I have some free time.

Paticularly the roll-off below 20hz. How'd that compare??

Here is my response with my FP10Q after EQ and LT boost

Here was the raw response

Not much difference...
Since I'm worried about the differences in listed rolloff I would want measurements in the exact same system. I may ship mktheater mine or run my subs in parallel......not sure I need even for overhead another 14k.

To see the rolloff I need to run the graphs to 3 hz and see if the differences so up from 3-7hz because that is where the differences will be and my mic might not pick it up.

If you look closer the raw response shows me down 5 dBs at 10hz and the boosted response shows me down 1 db.

I find on youtube 3 videos of FP10Q fail working. As I remember some buy 4 fp10Q and two of them was already broken or something...

Can anyone confirm that fp14k is more reliable than fp10Q 4 channel version? Is here anyone who has fail with fp14k?

Hello everyone,
I live in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

by Mr Tang I got the power supply scheme, and then tells me how busy and hear it .
So what kind of support I have from the Chinese!!!
I have 3 pieces original lab gruppen fp3400 and never had a problem

How many speakers were run per channel on your FP7000's? And which model speakers!?

We have some good ole fashion competition trolling going on in here. If you are going to troll and try to hurt your competition, at least try to not make it obvious and spell correctly.

Maybe not..

Here in UK, I know a Roots Reggae sound that has few of these.

They do sound warm and do the notes like any transformer amp, but when he brings them over from China, first thing he does before playing them, is to get engineer to "give them a look over", and in some cases finish the build "properly".Typical with many chinese amps.

Still considering one, as they do sub notes really well downto 2.66 ohms stereo.

Yeah weird is right!

Two seperate posters sign up just to comment on build quality. I wonder if there is a new retailer for these clones?

on the power board where the transistor 3 pieces IGBT FGA25N120 , prepared on the PCB for 4 pcs FGA25N120 .
This power supply used for all models of the FP + Series ,and probably set the number of transistors on a specific amplifier depending on the power amplifier

2x18" 8ohm + 8ohm per channel only equals 8 ohm!!!

So you were running in 4ohm bridge mode?

simply exploded in the amplifier, thrown circuit breaker on the distribution cabinet!
Second amplifier fp7000 is operating normally.

As I can remember someone before has some troubles with sanway fp7000.

But still no one problem with FP14k (not counting problems with 110V/220V), or anyone?

The 9000, 10000Q and 14000 seem to be pretty reliable so far.
