Can't visit the forum from here, but we've got a thread about Deadly Descents which is the only upcoming SSX game I know of.

Deadly Descents has been dropped from the name recently. The game is now simply SSX Thanks for the link to the other thread though.....we can close this one and maybe the OP can update the thread title to just SSX.

Any idea if this will allow you and friends to just open world shred the mountain in multiplayer? I always thought that'd be a ton of fun in SSX3 (they removed open world in SSX On Tour which I thought was a horrible mistake).

this looks great - i have been an ssx fan for years - 1080 was my fav on n64 but ssx took over - i tried the shawn white game on my wii and while the graphics are great it was not really that fun - ssx was always a blast to play - will be picking this up -

Lot of commercials for it during the X Games last night.

Looking forward to a new snowboard game - been way too long!!! Not sure why this genre disappeared this generation (prob due to Tony Hawk overdose), but Coolboarders, 1080, and the old SSX games used to be hugely popular and my favorite games.

Giving me the itch to head up north this weekend.

is it Kinect controllable? jump-turning to do a 180 and crouching for method air would be sweet, but that would be about to for tricks for me. Unless you could hold your arms out and jump for a 360, up and jump for 720, etc.

Grrrrrrr...that royally sucks.

I was ready to pass over this one with the earlier released "more realistic" footage but that looks ominously similar to the SSX3 gameplay that I fell in love with. Must watch more to see if it warrants a pre-order.
