So, I have had my Denon 2112 since June 2012, and up to this past Friday, hadnt encountered many problems, Friday night, I was getting no menu on my tv. So I checked the cable and swapped with a new cable, and that didnt help. Did a couple microprocessor resets, and still wouldnt work. I then tested a few other inputs to see if there were any other problems, and I was getting no sound on any input. Finally I unplugged everything for an hour, and at first no difference, then I finally got a menu on my tv, then 20 minutes later , some of the other inputs, including sound returned. So saturday morning, I re ran audessey, everything was working, Saturday night, same problem resurfaced. So at this point, I'm shipping to a repair facility, the service shop indicated most likely the problem is the hdmi board. Kind of disappointed that I have owner this receiver 3 mos, and I have to pay to ship it in for a repair. Has anyone encountered a failing hdmi board ? Makes sense about the display, but i was getting no sound, even on pandora, which is network. they asked me to write a description of my problem, which will probably confuse them more. Anyone, have any good experiences with repair facilities, around Ohio ?
