Designing my Home Theater

Thread Starter
I am very lucky, my son just graduated from college and is moving out of my soon to be theater room.

I have been going Ebay crazy lately and have purchased the following

Integra DTC9.8
4 each Crown XLS 602 Amps
1 each Crown XLS 202 Amp
2 each JBL 4645C Subs

I already have the following equipment

A sony BD

HTPC Home Made with win7 and AMD X6 Processor and a mid grade Graphics card

I know what you all are going to say but I am going to use my vintage Cerwin Vega D9's for the fronts and my Cerwin Vega D3's for the rears and I just purchased a Cerwin Vega XLS-6C for my center. I will use these at least until I can figure out what will sound better in my room for a decent price.

I am now on the hunt for a decent projector and for which I am willing to pay up to $1,500, if anyone has a suggestion please don't hesitate to respond. I also need to know where I can get material to make my own screen.

My theater room is 19 x 12 x 8. I am purchasing sound absorbing materials for the walls and the floor is carpeted.

I am hoping that some of you can help me with placement of my subs and speakers to get the best image and thump. I want to get kicked in the chest when I watch movies like Tom Cruse's war of the worlds.

I also need help determining what would be the best screen size for this room.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Oh one more thing, if anyone knows about a B6 equalization correction for my JBL subs I'd love to have a theoretical discussion about that as well.
