Settings for Avatar 3D on ST30?

I have a 50" plasma and about to receive my 3D blu ray player and Panasonic kit. I noticed they have James Cameron's settings for watching the movie but not for my particular TV. It shows settings for the GT and VT models but not the ST. Are there any preferred settings for my tv?

that is a very good question. I figure there would a request for that. I suggest that you call panasonic and ask them about it. hopefully cameron will release a special setting for the 2011 models. I own the gt25. the settings for work great for avatar and other 3d related movies.

Thanks. I emailed them so I'll wait and see what they say.

I would like to get the best possible picture for when I watch Avatar. I really enjoyed the blu ray CE edition of the movie on my previous Samsung 46" LCD. The picture was amazing but it took me a bit of time to get it right. This plasma has alot more settings and I'm not familiar with all of them so looking for a bit of help on achieving the best setup. I did D-Nice's recommended procedure and using his settings but it seems a bit too dark for my tastes, at least in my apartment's lighting environment.

my tv has the thx settings. so I use that for regular movies and then use the james cameron settings for 3d. works great for both.

yeah they did. they said cameron never released 3D settings for my TV...yet. So I was playing around with the VT and GT settings and using them with my tv. I really like the VT's settings and Avatar looks very good with them. Some of the settings aren't included so I just left them at default.
