Samsung pn50c7000 firmware 8000

I have a question I was thinking about doing the firmware hack turning my 7000 into a 8000. what would happen with my internet tv? will it get the right updates what if I had to do a samsung bug firmware update fix do I go to 7000 or 8000 series??? I'm sooo confused!! lol

the firmware updates are the same for both tv's...so when a firmware update comes out for the 8000, the same update is released for the 7000; therefore, it doesn't matter which update you download cuz it's the same file.

ok so if samsung has a 7000 series update that fixes a problem only the 7000 has and I'm experiencing that problem and my firmware has the 8000 trick on it what should I do?
