Not to rain on the parade but the same thing happened when their original Blu-ray players were about to be introduced. It was quickly followed by silence. It's called marketing and I was more influenced by them disappearing than showing up and pushing a new product.
that can help those of us in the market for a new blu-ray player - imagine how stupid you feel walking into a store after you bought something only to see the new model was released?
or how about passing up all of the sales on the currnet model waiting for the next only to find out it isn't what you wanted?
of course it is marketing - but releasing early information is generally not in the companies interests
so I say again, it is nice for someone from Pioneer to post the information - if you don't like it - just ignore it
