I have converted a few to m2ts which appears to mostly cure the issue. Although daunting, I don't mind using clownbd to covert all of my iso's to m2ts files but i'm wondering why this is the case and why more people aren't experiencing this problem? I should point out that these movies are on an external hdd plugged directly to the media player using usb. I should also point out that my 3d iso's play great (granted these are full rip isos and not just main movie if that makes a difference). I just don't want to go thru the multiple hours of coverting my collection if i don't have to.
Thanks for the input.

Try the following: use Fab as you normally would to make the main title rip but don't have it make the .iso, just rip to a folder structure. Then use ImgBurn to turn the folder into an .iso. I have never had a problem with an ImgBurn .iso. I never bother using Fab to make an .iso.
@kelson i think its a different issue.
theres nothing wrong with dvdfab iso, im using clone mode, and i dont have issues in micca ep950 regarding the audio drops.
i also have a med1000x3d and i have audio drops in certain movies... its a bug soon to be resolved according to their forum.
please read my post here http://www.mede8erforum.com/index.php/topic,9143.msg57848.html#msg57848
and see the list of movies with audio drops.

"ok - I think what may be happening on that particular BDs is that they are using many clips to make a playlist. So you probably getting some HD Audio drop when it switches from one clip to another. Remember that X3 has to re sync the stream if its broken. The HD Audio takes longer to re sync than core5.1.
We using a later SDK than anyone and it has many hidden fixes. Why it takes longer to re sync vs Micca is a good question but is more than likely due to the updated decoding that we have"
@socwrkr if i was you , i would not touch in your movie formats just keep iso in all your movies, ive used a htpc with xbmc before and iso was the best option....recommended by @blu-ray in xbmc forums.
also if you using full iso, in certain movies with several playlists, choose the second playlist to be played in dts-hd it doesnt have audio drops.....
