Home Theatre Receiver?

Hello all,
I am just finishing up my home theatre and been looking at receivers that would best work for me. I have:
7.1 speakers
2 outdoor speakers
46" LCD
EPSON 8350
PS3
Electric Projector screen
Harmony 900

I would like to be able to switch from my LCD to Projector, so 2 OUT HDMI is a must.

I would also like to power my 7.1 speakers and play an Ipod outside or have all 9 speakers going if I hook up a TV outside.

I am not sure what kind of system could work for this. I am looking to spend around $1000. I have been looking at the Onkyo 1008.

Are there any other options out there? Thanks in advance for the info.

Have no clue where you are getting that for $1000, if you have a way, there is no better choice. Especially at $1000.

Yamaha RX-A1000 might do the job for you. NewEgg has them on sale almost every weekend. Last weekend it was $650. You'd need to add an external 2 channel amp for the zone 2. It has dual simultaneous hdmi out, and unlike most receivers, if you don't mind all channel stereo mode for the 7 channel system, it can play hdmi to zone 2 in "party mode".

Has a really nice network app for remote controlling the system by way of laptop / iphone.

The RX-A2000 steps it up a bit re: video processing, power, 9.2 [with ext amp], but it'll run about $900 + external amp.

Integra DTR 40.2. It has 2 zones, 7.2 and usb port, plus internet radio.

What brand/model speakers do you own and what ohm rating are they?

They are 8 ohm inwall speaker.
