I had side exhaust on my old 69 chevelle SS I had a few years ago. I loved that car but man did it dirty the hell out of the back wheels LOL. Thats one car I wish I still had. It was stored over winter at a storage facility that burned down the good part is I got 34K for it , which bought me my 86 Regal T and 13K worth of performance parts for it The real funny part is, the Regal T would have blown the doors off the chevelle. Currently with the alky injection, I'm sitting at 11.81 in the 1/4 the chevelle was in the low 13's with the 454.

The wingless Noble looks nice and frankly aside from asthetics unless you're going fast enough for it to really make a difference does it really need to even be on there?

Well that car does look like a stealth fighter so yeah maybe the wing needs to be on there.

Yeah they say the wing starts to create down-force at speeds upward of 40 MPH, getting more significant as your speeds get higher. It is supposed to be noticeable when you track the car on a high speed track. The part of the wing that creates the down-force is actually the ends of the wing. For this particular car, if you want to make most of the wing, you would have to raise the wing even with or higher than the roof line of the car. Some guys who have the car and track it quite a bit actually do this.

Regardless I have to say you have a badass car. I love seeing lesser known sports cars out there among all the usuals.

Noble is a lesser known car company but what they do make is pure BAMF.

I don't know much about Jet skis but damn was that fast. It wasn't even close! That's awesome.

Only 800lbs and 350HP=Fast! and fun... Oh yea at wide open throttle burns 28 gallons in 1 hour.

Damn that's impressive but I don't think I would want to go that fast on a small water craft, a wreck at that speed would almost certainly be 'lights out'.

Still looks like a kick in the a$$ though.

No different than taking something like the Noble up a few posts out to the track and hitting some debris at 150+ mph. Still worth the rush though if you ask me. That's part of owning high performance machinery like that. The faster you go the closer you are to death lol.

Sure, had a lowered and stretched gsxr 750 turbo that was not really street legal but the guy that built it owned a shop and got it through somehow, it scared the crap out of me and I had it to 165 mph one time on a perfectly flat new road. I only had the bike for a short period, sold it after being run off the road a couple times by elderly Florida drivers out for their Sunday excursions.

Having ridden jet skis and sea-dos before and knowing how the water bounces you around I can say with certainty that I prefer the illusion of having total control in an automobile.

Obviously all of this 'speed' is dangerous no matter the mode of transport.

At least in my Noble I have a full roll cage and 4pt harness to give me the illusion of safety!

The fastest I have ever been was when I topped in a 1999 TL1000R Suzuki that I bought brand new back in the day. It was on an 8 mile stretch way in the back roads. Talk about tunnel vision! The speedo was showing around 168MPH, but I am sure that it was not accurate, as those bikes' speedo's tended to be little inaccurate on the high side. I kept it topped in for about 3 miles, and when I finally slowed down, 100 MPH felt like I was walkin'. Ended up totalling the bike after I had a full Yoshi exhaust and tune. Man, that V-twin had some power.

I bought it Saturday. The car was from Utah. Since I don't have any room here in Louisiana, I had to ship it to my pops in north Arizona until I free up some room for it. It is a 1970 Torino GT with a 429 Cobra Jet.

Forgot to mention I went ahead and ordered a set of DOT-R tires for my Noble M400. Sticky, sticky tires! My M400 hooks up really good now. Tires only last around 6000 miles though!

Hawkwing, I know I sound like a total dweeb, but what are your 0-60 and 1/4 mile times with your Noble? Did you put it together yourself?

My Noble was assembled in South Africa at Hi-tech. The rolling chassis was then sent (at the time in 2007) to 1G Racing in Ohio (now called Rossion and located in Pompano Beach, Florida) where the powertrain was installed. 1G Racing at the time was the only North American distributor of these cars, and in 2007 acquired the rights to the Noble M400 from Lee Noble. Their newest car is called the Rossion Q1, and is basically the same as the M400, but with a different body style and an updated interior. It still has the same power-train and chassis of the M400.

I have never been to the track so I have no idea. Stock M400's with a good driver are timed somewhere in the mid 3 second range for 0-60, and around mid to low 11's in the quarter mile.
