I havent heard anything about the issue until last night when I got an email from a Ceton Engineer that stated MS has put out a hotfix that will fix the issue. I have done a few tests today and I can happily say that the issues so far been fixed! I have done recordings on of HD broadcasts on the clearqam while watching another channel and everything is working as it should. The real test will come this weekend with college and NFL football and lots of sunday night and evening recording. I'll check back if there are any issues but I have to give a big thanks to Ceton (and I suppose "other" OCUR that had input as well;)) and erickotz for being diligent and active and getting this fixed by MS. For anyone else that had similar issues as I did here is the link to the article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2746119

Yup - we just got notification of the final fix yesterday, and haven testing since then. We are starting to get some feedback from affected customers (like yourself) that his resolves it, so that is good. We will ultimately communicate this more widely, as we suspect others are affected that have not opened support tickets with us.
While we drove this with Microsoft, we did invite the other major players in this space (Hauppauge and SiliconDust) to provide a businses impact statement to Microsoft for this issue. Hauppauge is the only company that took us up on our offer
