Hey folks, I have an HTPC with an MSI GTX 460 to an Onkyo HT-S5400 htib that I've configured for Front Highs rather than standard 7.1. Is there any special Playback configuration that I need to do in Windows 7 in order to use the Front High speakers? I currently have Windows set up for 5.1 in the Speaker Configuration in the sound manager. If I set the configuration to 7.1 and run the test, my surround sound speakers simply chime twice, so I'm assuming I want to stay with 5.1.

While on the topic, is there anything I need to do to configure the GTX 460 correctly for full audio bitstreaming with my receiver? I did a search and couldn't seem to find any information that was relevant to my situation. I know about the GTX 460 thread, and its chock full of data, but its a long thread, and finding exactly what I need to know is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Okay, thanks for any help that can be offered.
