Laptop image to TV over LAN

Hello all

I am trying to display my Laptop image on the TV via Wireless/LAN.

Think of the TV as the projector without the cable.
Now If do have a Samsung UE46D6510 TV. There are quiet a few screensharing ads out there and perhaps the TV has to support that too. I am hoping for a trick of hack here.

Thanks for your support

Hi!

basically the TV should be a second monitor/beamer and I want to stream a picture there. moving, motion not with 5sec interval. Sound is not so important.

best example, surfing the web on the large TV without connecting a cable.

if it works, budget does not matter.

thanks

Pay sumbody to write a VNC widget for the Samsung. Anything else requires the addition of external hardware.

Perhaps Intel WiDi (Wireless Display) is what you are looking for.

Newer laptops come with the chip built-in, but you can also get the part and replace it yourself. You would then need the Netgear Push2TV Adapter to connect to your TV.

Thanks,
V
