Good question, not sure.

Well the 1 OTA feed that they may be able to get easy is WGN HD (from the same satellites that they get the rogers HD channels from)

Will this system be used for the olympics if there are any ppv planes?

they last used PPV for the olympics in 1992.... one time.... the "Triplecast"... it failed miserably... it's not coming back.

I believe they do have a second HD PPV feed.

BHN Tampa Bay currently has it.

I have only seen it used once or twice....

the memo from when they added GAMEHD2 talked about HDPPV2.

But if they are adding 18 HD channels for the sports packs why not add back HDPPV2 as well just for the times when there are 2 live PPV events.

It would also be nice if InDemand would also allow the carriage of Pre and Postgame shows of that teams's game on a given day on MLB Extra Innings or any of the other packages.

It's very sad that only DirecTV has that luxury.

DirecTV may have that luxury, but it's hardly utilized. On NHL CI for example, you don't get pre and post game shows on the NHL CI channels. You need the Sports Pack to watch those.

any idea if/when the Game plan and Full court packages will get the HD treatment . I know that the 2011 Game plan is NOT in HD, just wondering if down the line......?

This shows Time Warner Cable is in talks for them.

Bright House Orlando is adding ALL of these channels September 30.

It's really going to make buying those out of market sports packages worth it.

Well Directv tried to get it in 2010 and ESPN backed off. BUT that may of just been Directv remapping RSN feeds / taking in RAW feeds to the game plan channels. a other roomer was that ESPN Did not want to piss off cable systems that did not have the room for Game plan and Full court HD.

But at least ESPN now is planing to make the alt / reverse mirror channels go HD.

any ways with Directv and the sports pack you can get most of the gameplan games on the RSN's with not needing to get gameplan.

TWC NYC just announced the additional Game and Team HD channels for Sept 6.

While the HD signal is not the best , I'm excited about us getting them here in Orlando September 30.

Bright House Bakersfield has added all of the new channels Game 3-9 HD and Team 2-9 HD on their system.
I wonder when Xfinity is going to add those channels in MA. hopefully sept 29th when CSN Chicago is added here.
Nothing yet in the DC area on Fios.....
We recently got team1 and game1 and game2. Still a long way from 18 here in Harford County MD. That is on Comcast.
Still waiting here in MA.
Nothing here on the St. Paul, MN system. I'd imagine we could get them on November 15th when we get the 10 new HD channels which includes Fox Soccer HD and BBC America HD.
Just trying to bring this back to the forefront. Anybody getting more than 2 HD channels from comcast for Center Ice or League Pass? In MA there is 1 for Hockey, GAMEHD 635 and 1 for basketball, TEAMHD 612. Not exactly the 18 that we were all looking for.
A big zero in Atlanta. Atlanta COMCAST is terrible for customers seeking pay channels or premium sports packages.
Only three channels in Baltimore.
Still just the two on NHL Center Ice here in Harford County MD (northeast of Baltimore), though for a while they were only using one of them. Now we seem to get the two HD feeds regularly. However, MSG does not allow their HD feeds on Center Ice for some reason, so I rarely get to watch my Sabres in HD.'

There is also the one feed for NBA, but I don't subscribe to that.

3 total in the Detroit area; Team HD 1, Game HD 1, Game HD 2.
2 in the SF bay area, GAMEHD and GAMEHD2.

i live in the same area, the least Comcast should do in MA is add Game2 HD.

That's definitely not true. I get all MSG broadcasted teams in HD via CI (Rangers, Islanders, Devils & Sabres) Maybe they don't give the feeds to iN DEMAND but DirecTV & Dish both have them.
Still a big fat 0 HD channels on Cablevision.
TWC NYC has all of them.

Of course we just lost MSG and MSG+ HD, but that's another story.
Verizon hasn't added them yet.
