Well to be honest i can't complain the bass sounds deep the clarity is beyond words and everything sounds good to me. I think one sub will be enough in my house and the main thing is i'm happy... Thanks again for your input and suggestions perpendicular.

Hey perpendicular Whats the bass output of those mirage subs?

No i think you have me mistaken perpendicular i know the importance of having more than one sub, if i had more mains sockets i would definately have more subs in my house, but it is pretty small so i can only work with one.

What i mean't about the output of the mirage sub you have was the bass output ratings... is it 100watts, 200watts, 300 maybe?

I also love the fact that my sub is totally slient to the ones iv'e had over the years always made that thump noise when switched on, i even had one that hummed... the cambridge audio x300 is completely silent and on the back of the sub is a neon blue led light that comes on when you switch the sub on.

Me too! My Old Yamaha V2500 also set at 200hz for my X300.

Well, I did it. Perpendicular, thanks for answering so many questions. I ordered 5 Mini 20's and a Mirage MM8 sub. Should have everything by the end of next week!

Do your experience your X300 moving on the floor when playing deep bas sound?

How can I stop it moving?

Hey rayzine, i haven't experienced that problem what so ever i do have my x300 sitting on a solid granite worktop, it keeps the bass tight and also provides good isolation for the sub so no moving about here.

In this picture you can see that i have my sub in a corner near my sofa i get clean deep bass without the sub moving. see if you can try a granite worktop or even an isolation platform auralex do the sub dude amongst others.

Got my Mini 20's yesterday. Hooked them up late last night so I haven't had a chance to really try them out yet. Here's a picture of the front right, center, and left. My new sub won't be here until Thursday, so I haven't run Audyssey.

Hi mark the speakers look the business in your setup, iam planning on getting three more min20s to complete my setup and have just recently ordered the horizontal speaker grille from cambridge audio which i will be getting a stand for also.

I have to admit after running audyssey i really am pleased with the sound quality of these marvel speakers they are just so clear and reveal plenty of detail in movies and music and i'm just running 2.1 at the moment.

The x300 subwoofer is also a really good sub, it punches well above it's weight providing deep punchy taut bass without strain... i orginally was gonna keep my sub i had before i sold it but thought that i would rather stick with the cambridge audio one just to integrate it a bit better and i have to say that the speakers and sub mesh together very, very well.

Once again congrats and look forward to your opinions about them.

Can the min20 be wall mounted horizontally using the standard included mount? I'm guessing the mount can be attached either vertically or horizontally but would like confirmation.

Also, if I am wall mounting the front 3 speakers in a 5.1 setup do you think it's ok to use the standard mount or should I pony up for the pivoting wall mounts so I can point the speakers inward? The left and right speakers will be about 6 or 7 feet apart from each other and my viewing distance is about 13 ft.

Cambridge audio do a range of fixtures and mounts for the minx speakers, they have the aluminium table stands that i'm currently using with my min20s.

I also plan on getting another one for when i get the min20 to use as a center which i'm planning to have horizontally also with a horizontal speaker grille ordered for free from them...

In your situation i would go for the pivoting wall mount.

I just purchased a Denon 2112ci and I planning on pairing it with the Cambridge S325 system. The system is going in my living room, which is rather small at 14.3 x 9.8 feet. I primarily watch TV (FIOS) and movies, not so much music.

I'm a total audio noob and I was mainly concerned if the Denon AVR would be sufficient to power these "mini titans". I'm also concerned if the S325 would be enough to to fill the room without pissing off the neighbors. Any comments are appreciated.

My first impressions are that these speakers sound really good! I only have about 8 or10 hours on them, most of that watching TV, but about 3 hours of music. Speakers have a great soundstage and fill the room nicely. They are very detailed on background music and sounds. Mirage MM8 sub only has about 4 hours on it with about 2 of music. Speakers and sub sound really good for music - very integrated, it doesn't sound like a sub/satellite system at all. Sub is a little anemic for home theater so far. I ran Audyssey with the sub at half volume and it boosted it to plus 2.5 which sounds good for music, but I remember I had to boost my other sub volume for HT too. Hey Jeffrey, what is a normal volume setting for the MM8? Can I turn it up to 3/4 without risking any damage to the sub?
