You'd have better luck if you were selling a German car. You might be able to get $50.00 a piece, if you're lucky. They're not very popular at their selling price point. For their retail value, one can find more bang for their money.

You could always use them as paper weights?

Didn't you list them for $100.00 a piece or all five for $400.00?


Personally, since I've heard all three brands and several models, I'd go for the B&W's first and the Def Techs second.


What gave you that idea?

I Posted a new "Comparison Reviews" section on the first Post of the 1st page. So far, only a limited Min 10 to Min 20 comparison. The same Website reviewed and measured the Min 10. Why there wasn't a test measure on the Min 20 is anyone's guess. Also, that same Website reviewed the Min 11 which I Posted on the 1st page a while back. Let's hope there will be some Min 11 / 21 comparison reviews forthcoming for 2013.

My dream for 2013? To have some professional magazine review and compare both the Min 10 / 11 & Min 20 / 21 and include measurements of all four. I can dream, can't I?!

I'm sure they're interested in what we all have to say regarding their Minx speakers but in all honesty, the last several pages have been loaded with mostly small talk and hardly any new Minx owners.

Speaking on price, I would suspect that if Cambridge Audio decided to make a larger BMR driver based speaker, I think it would be a new model rather than part of the Minx family. The whole idea behind Minx and the name is to design the best sounding satellite loudspeaker in a smaller package and having a larger driver would increase it's size by a larger margin.

I've come to a conclusion. The little Minx are a fantastic speaker for their size. Albeit, a bit pricey in terms of what Bazzy was mentioning so I won't repeat that. At this point forward, I will be interested in what others have to say and will continue to frequent this Thread. You see, I've somewhat graduated to the next level searching for the next value in a smaller designed wide range satellite loudspeaker. I prefer the smallest design but I'll give that up for a speaker that plays down to around 80 Hz +/- 3 db just so I wouldn't ever need to set an above 100 Hz level for the crossover on my Subwoofer(s). Personally, I would prefer a well designed between 5 to 7 inch driver speaker that would have multiple mounting options and I could use full range for music and use with a Subwoofer for movies. So, Bazzy, you were partially right. I have lost a bit of interest in the little Minx but not totally.

Also, I do think it's great that people are Posting their observations and true feelings regarding Cambridge Audio. I'm sure the majority of readers, users, prospective users and the curious all feel about the same. Hopefully, they (CA) will read the constructive criticism and gain a bit of understanding what their customer are looking for in a particular product. Cambridge Audio seems like a great company with some very knowledgeable people behind the helm of that glorious ship. Let us all keep thinking positive for what the future may hold!

For me, this is a bit subjective. for the past year, I've been reading up on crossovers and subwoofers in general. The consensus is, where directionality begins, depends on which research article you read, anywhere from 80 Hz to 120 Hz. With my listening experiments, I find below 100 Hz to be about right.
