Your post and brochure underscores the viability of a BMR based soundbar.
It seems that the system is passive, requiring an amp/receiver for everything but the sub. (if wrong, please correct me, as the brochure displayed a bit curiously on the small display I'm currently on).
In any event, since CA reads this thread occasionally, I hope they're reading these posts, though I would argue for a self powered, active Soundbar.
As far as why the company discontinued the Q-AV 5.1, a great idea needs every other factor working for it...i.e, great marketing, rational and cost-effective manufacturing, and many other elements. But it sure got great reviews!
