Well I just finished the campaign and what a poor installment into the franchise. It had some great things going for it but easily my least favorite Halo campaign followed by 2.

Halo 4 on Amazon for $35 for another hour or so.

They're finally understanding what the xbox community wants! Games that are proven like team snipers and team doubles! These bring back the good old days of halo 2. Wish their ranking system was better tho, more competitive.

You'll be pleased to know that 343i will be releasing the CSR which is the Competitive Skill Ranking system either at the end of the month or in March.Also, the Community Forge made maps are far better than the one's in H3 and Reach combined..Yup, Team Doubles is very awesome indeed...

Very cool! Ill have to look into the CSR you mentioned, if its true ill be very happy. Im getting bored of everyone at level 130 lol

I have not played 4 in 2-3 months. I think I thought their playlists and map rotations were terrible or something. I don't think there was even big team CTF or bomb, my favorite game modes.

I spent quite a bit of time in forge though.

I assume I will try this game again.

Is it easier to do big team CTF and bomb now?

Is the file share system up and running where we can share maps and game modes?

matchmaking was down on Friday, does anyone know if it's been fixed?

man, went away from Halo 4 for a couple months. come back and there are 5 full episodes of Spartan Ops left for me to play! woohoo! i think the episodes are getting better and better. if you play the episodes like single player, they're really good and long. play it multiplayer though and it's super quick work.

hoping that there's a season 2 as season 1 was just awesome.

Just got this from Gamefly and have to say it may lead to a purchase! The graphics are amazing! Installing the multiplayer and will know if its a purchase or not. Wasn't a fan of H3 but this might bring me around. Didn't play one or two at all.

I've had Halo 4 since the release but find I play COD Black Ops 2 more unless my friends want to play Halo. I do like the new Action Sack playlists, though.

I have to agree. The storyline had me on the edge of my seat, but the ending................ (I wont spoil it incase anyone's still hasn't played through) but the missions were horrible. It took everything that made Halo and threw it out the window.

Music. Gone.
Big epic battles gone
big open environments gone
Dual wielding and the SMG gone
always having ammo gone..... I spent so much time finding ammo it was ridiculous.
No gimmicks.,just shoot stuff and walk through a level..............gone, I spent so much time finding stupid switch's and ammo it wanted to quit and be done with the game.

It was like the new Bond movie. It was a great movie But lacked everything that makes a Bond movie a Bond movie.

By about Half Way through it felt like I was playing a Mass Effect FPS. Anyone else get that feeling?


Spartan Ops is the best new thing to be added to Halo, its a full out blast.

I personally don't miss dual-wielding. However, more weapon variety in campaign (especially in the later missions) would've been nice. Seems like it boiled down to all Lightrifle all the time. You're pretty much forced to plink away at Knights from long/medium range in order to survive, and the only weapon around with ammo available ends up being Lightrifles due to enemies dropping them. And because the Lightrifle is basicallya DMR wannabe instead of a unique, alien-feeling weapon, it just leaves me kind of cold.

Don't want to sound like I'm totally down on the campaign, because there was plenty I liked about it too. But I feel like there was so much unfulfilled potential in the Prometheans (combat behavior, "character"/lack thereof, and their weaponry).
