Philips overscan problem, need help

Thread Starter
I hooked up a PC through HDMI to my Philips Plasma model 63PF9631/37.

The PC reconizes the Philips an recommends a 1920X1050 resolution. THe PC image fills up the TV display but unfortunately cuts off the top and bottom of the PC image due to overscan. Does anyone know how to change/reduce overscan on the Philips?
I do not want to lower the PC resolution because I get big black bars on the side of the TV display, I would rather reduce the overscan.
Thanks

I couldn't find any resources about your TV. ...But often there's a shortcut button built onto the manufacturer's remote control, labeled "Format" or "Ratio", try scanning over your controller for something that might indicate this feature. Otherwise, press the Menu button and search through the TV's options for potential aspect ratios... Every digital TV has this option, so I'm sure you're just overlooking it by accident.

Read the early pages of the 9630 and 9631 Threads here on AVS. People were hooking up PC's to the TVs in 2005 and 2006.
