Thanks santafe. You're about a month ahead of me in time, though we don't watch a lot of TV during the week, so I've been running slides from time to time to get a few more hours on it (I'm guessing I'm about up to 50 hrs.). My set is an October build and I applied the firmware update too. I'll print out Dave's settings and play around with them and see how it looks.
In reading all these posts, it can be easy to over-analize, hyper-critique everything and drive yourself nuts over things that may not be a big deal

. I bet 75% of people who actual bought this set over the last year haven't been to any of these websites to know what they're "supposed" to do, and like you said, just plug them in and enjoy. However, me being a little OCD...
