Toy Story 3 in 3D?

Did anyone get a chance to catch this in a good 3D theatre? Would love to hear how well done the 3D depth/popout was

I was just looking at a list 3D movies and remembered this came out in theatres in 3D. I don't see how this hasn't been released on 3D BD yet. They know they would make a killing and everyone who has a 3D HDTV would want to own it

It's currently a Starz 3D on Demand exclusive in the US.

I have it on disc, it's not to bad. I recorded from the Japanese 3D channel all the Toy Story movies in 3D.

Did you use a Blu-ray 3D recorder which I understand may only be available in Japan? If so, I assume the disc may have problems playing on a U.S. TV

Yes I did, recorded in SBS format and plays fine (region free)

I believe VUDU also offers in it 3D.

The 3D was pretty useless in the theater.

I thought it was great, so there is a diversity of opinion. I thought its 3D made a really good thing even better - just as 3D is supposed to.

Nope, just a trailer. The full movie is not on Vudu at the moment. I hope to find a good SBS torrent on it soon. Hard to feel bad about doing it this way when there are no legal ways of getting this movie in 3D at home.

I also have this movie in sbs 3D on a bluray. Its great! Same price as green hornet too! But your 3DTV has to have the option of viewing different formats. This is one of the few worth owning of the 3D toons out there, imho.

I have a Samsung D8000 so I do have the option of viewing 3D in side by side/top and bottom, etc.

Confused as to what you meant by "same price as green hornet" as ToyS3 is not available to buy in stores at this time

I suspect he meant that he "failed to pay the licensing fee" before "creating" his own copy, as it were...

Finally downloaded a clean SBS version of this last night. Can't wait to finally see it in 3D, as I've seen it about a hundred times in 2D already.

Was Toy Story in Blu-ray 3D available somewhere late last year as possibly with an exclusive?

No - it was only broadcast on PPV (or onDemand) as far as I know. None of the series is officially out on Blu-ray in 3D..... yet

I just watched each Toy Story movie in 3D again and really enjoyed them! Each time I watch them I just laugh. Having them in 3D is even better than 2D, just adds more to the movie experience.

How did you get them in 3D?
Yea? How did you get them in 3d?

Use your imagination guys, they're not on blu-ray 3D, and not new enough for them all to be on some kind of 3D on demand, so ... I'm sure you can guess where to find them

My source for 3D sharing is now closed down and I feel terrible as they had a lot of good programs like travelling to various cities which they taped from British 3D TV.

I recorded mine from a 3D broadcast here in Japan. Japans skyperfect 3D channel often shows 3D movies, some seem to be copied from the British 3D channel. I use a 3D blu-ray recorder and record them.
