Songs with bass - New song every day w/ Spec Lab!

First, let me get it out of the way that in NO way shape or form is this a "best of" or "hardest hitting" selection of songs with bass. These are just songs with good bass.

In this thread, i will post a new song every day until I run out of material. I will give some basic (ha, pun intended...) information about the song and post a Spec Lab image of a portion of the song. I will also try to find a link to each song on the net somewhere for you to listen to it. I intend to post some "rare" stuff on here so I may not be able to find links for everything. For legal reasons I won't be able to post any mp3's of copyrighted songs. However, several of the "rare" songs I intend to post will be from old games (and when i say old, I mean OLD, as in 20+ years old) and I will post a link to an mp3 version of those songs.

Feel free to comment on my selections but PLEASE do not post your own music here, there are plenty of "subwoofer songs" where you can post them. This thread is a bit more specialized than those.

Now, with that said there will be some limitations I'm going to place on myself. The following are some rules I am imposing on my self:

1. No test tones
2. No sine waves or sweeps
3. I am not going to post anything that would not be considered a "song". I know this is subjective to some, but hey, it's my post soooo...
4. If it doesn't have a beat or bass line below 45Hz, I'm not going to include it unless I have a VERY good reason

Misc Info: I was introduced to Bass 305 back in the "golden age" of bass music in the mid-90's. I didn't have a subwoofer back then but i did have floor standing 3-way speakers with 12" woofers. While not as good as a dedicated sub, i was able to appreciate the music. I can pretty much single-handedly thank Bass 305's music for getting me into loving deep bass. I honestly don't remember which album of theirs i picked up first but Departure (so named because it was supposed to be their last album) is certainly my favorite. Their songs have almost no vocals and are usually very rhythmic. When I first discovered Spectrum Lab I found out that there is not a single song on any of their 7 albums that really goes below 35Hz. But don't let that prevent you from trying out their music if you like that sort of stuff.

Misc Info: If you love bass, then Bass Mekanik needs no introduction. These two songs are from one of their latest albums. Machine melt in particular is extremely aggressive (as the Spec Lab image shows) and if turned up loud enough on inferior equipment, will probably do exactly what it's name says.

Misc Info: I found Bassic while listening to Pandora on my android phone. It randomly chose one of the songs off this album. As soon as i got home, i purchased the album and i've been pleased with every single song on it!

Misc Info: When i first heard this album it was from a CD someone left at the job i was working at the time. The CD was scratched pretty bad and i thought (dumb i know now) the static in the music was from that. Turns out that's how they wanted it to sound. One of my favorite hip hop albums of all time. No spectrum labs image, i recently bought a Home Theater receiver and i'm outputting the signal via digital coax, i don't think i can record spec lab images anymore. Does anyone know what i can do about that?

Misc Info: I love all of Animusic music. Here's one of my favorites, it's from the second album and reminds me of something an alien might construct to make music.

That is how I had it set up before, but that only works when your outputting an analog signal. This will never work, my card is simply acting as a pass through now with the digital coax. The "what you hear" option is now coming from the AVR. It's not touching the audio at all. The digital signal is now being decoded by my HT AVR. I don't think it's possible to make any recordings anymore without running a line-in back to the sound card from the AVR and I'm not gonna do that.

We aren't using a mic. The program takes the audio directly from the sound card.

Unfortunately due to me losing the capability to use Spectrum Lab, this will be my last song post until i can figure something out (if it's even possible). When i started this thread i built a back-log of the information above and this is the last one on my list. I could still post songs that have good bass, but i won't know if they are below 45Hz nor will i be able to post any more spec labs images. Let me know if you want me to keep going without that info.
