My old 2-channel music system:
TT = Mitsubishi LT-30, tangental, full auto
Cartridge = Clearaudio Wood
Pre = Convergent Audio Technology (CAT) SL1 MkIII
Amps = 2 x Golden Tube Audio SE-40 strapped for 80W mono, pure Class A as in all six 6L6s (per monoblock) idling flat-out at max plate current. Sweet/
Speakers = various stand-mount; WATTs, Focal 706C
Subwoofers = 2 x Cerwin Vega 320B passive down-firing bass commodes
Sub amp = xyz solid state 100W/chan there for pure muscle - incapable of tube finesse.
Equalization = curtains, furniture, tapestries, wall-hangings, large oriental rug, corner traps (damn, forget the maker), etc.
Audio path = Direct
Audio source = needle on vinyl
Secondary audio souce: Many different "seed-eee" players.
