Ummm....

WOW!

I dont know where this is going... But the newer home passive 3D tv's makes all the difference in the world. No fuss no hassle 3D. I have both an active and newer passive. Watched the active very seldom. Too many tech issues. THe passive we watch constantly. I just added a 3D camcorder to personalize our 3D experience.

What kind of passive tv did you get?

The film itself is of a high standard. The 3D not bad.

I got an email from amazon.com today advertising the movie being available on the 30th. When I clicked on the link, there was no mention of a 3D version.

No 3D version to be released on 9/30. That is coming later in the year along with special features. This first release is a 2D bare bones release.
i wonder if it will be exclusive to buying a certain tv. LOL

Nah, not Transformers 3. I'm pretty pissed about Kung Fu Panda 2, though.

Has a new release date for the 3D version been announced yet?
Nope. No date yet. There was just a definite quote saying that it will come later in the year and with a bunch of new features. I'm just hoping no deal is cut for an exclusivity to a TV.

I was kind of hoping this would be a nice addition to my collection, but after seeing it in the theater (in 3D) I never wish to watch it again. Effects were good, but the whole group I was with was making jokes and praying for it to end with about an hour left.

As much as she seems to be a nitwit, Megan Fox was missed in T3.

November for France and Dec for Germany.
I hope it will be sooner than that for US release.

Yeah, enjoyable effects, but about 45 min too long. Also, the autobots were a-holes!

Gee, how fabulous it must have been for the people sitting near you that actually wanted to watch the film they paid for.

If people don't like a movie that much then just leave. I mean come on, you don't have to ruin it for other people. I'm glad draft house cinema do not tolarate those people and will kick you out. A theater that cares, go figure.

Excellent 3D!! Best in theater since Avatar, but I also agree the movie was about 7 1/2 hours too long, at least it seemed to be a 9hr movie
post #173 of 179
So has anyone been able to dig up the dirt on when the 3DBD is going to be released?

The only other people in the theater were a group of teens doing the same thing. Saw it very late in its run. it was the 9:30 show on a weekday with about 7 people in the theater total. We had fun seeing which group could come up with the better jokes. Too bad you were not there I guess. There seemed to be a concensus among those attending that the movie blew chow. Would never have made any comments if the place was full of people enjoying the movie, but the whole crowd went Mystery Science Theater on it with about an hour left.

I've already rented it, but its so long, I took it back to Blockbuster, and I'll wait and buy the 3D deluxe version. It takes me two or three days to watch a movie of this length.
