Audio out of sync with DirectVobSub

After I installated of DirectVobSub, the audio streams on playback get progressivelly out of sync and are lagging the video stream and the subtitle streams out of sync too and not in sync with either the audio and the video.

I am using Win7x86 WMC with LAV splitters with an i3-550 CPU/GPU. The audio/video sync was fine before installation of DirectVobSub.

Has anybody else experienced this issue? Any solutions to it?

You could call this a shameless bump bet I guess I'm the only one experiencing this.

Might my diagnosis be incorrect?

simply replacing the installed vsfilter.dll with THIS ONE may resolve your issue.

Hey Shark Thanks.

A couple of questions...

What is vsfilter.dll Ver4.7? is it the latest VobSub filter?

How's the implementation of LAV in your pac coming along?

it is a 'work in progress' develoment built soon to be added to the MPC-HC SVN repository

implementation of new splitters/decoders is not an issue.

LAV is simply not ready for primetime distribution.
If you wish to use your HTPC as an alpha testing ground, I applaud you.

you never did state whether or not the vsfilter update solved your issue.
To keep you abreast with development, HERE is v5.

I've tried the previously posted vsfilter which caused issues with no playback at all. Then I went to an earlier restore point before installing VobSub and tried again. Now I am still having this sync issue.

Recently I saw a post stating that MakeMKV fails sometimes and am wondering if that is my issue? I've made a few mkv's using it latelly some of which don't have HD Audio tracks which playback fine. All the mkv's I've made with dts-HD/MA are having this issue and I don't have any Dolby TrueHD movies to verify if that codec is working right now.

Do I have an issue with the file/container and not the splitter/decoder for HD Audio???

I've got the same issue. I'm using DirectVobSub_2.41.7036_x64

Any tips? Trying to get bluray MKV rips made with makemkv working with subtitles with LAV Filters and directvobsub alone.

I managed to get the forced subtitles working by setting flags in mkvmerge header editor but media center wouldn't natively play the subtitle. It does play the subtitles with directvobsub installed but the audio is WAY out of sync... HELP!
