It has yet to be confirmed that PLED-W500 will work with a 3D converter via HDMI, which would enable 3D from sources like a PS3, Set Top Box or Standalone Blu-ray player.
A Viewsonic tech via e-mail did say that he hooked up a VP3D1 and was outputting 1280x720P@120Hz.
I was able to use Nvidia 3D Vision to game only, via a VGA connection.
VGA is not HDCP compliant, so no 3D Blu-ray playback. Unless a 3rd party solution such as AnyDVD HD or HDFury 2,3,3D is used.
The ML500, Acer K330 and NEC LW50 should all be capable of the spoof if using an Nvidia GPU.
I'm pretty sure CA will vary from unit to unit, I'm unsure if the convergence calibration is thru manual alignment or if there is any digital adjustment. If it was digital, I'd expect to see a convergence adjustment option in the menu, like I had on my rear projection TV.
