I have a DVD-V880 dx that I have never gotten to work properly and wonder if it might be my stupidity or hardware.
I can get sound but no video no matter what method I try to connect (component, composite, S-Video, etc.) to my Sharp LC-52SB55U Full HD 1080p.
Currently I only have composite connection available without taking the TV off the wall or getting a fiber optic scope as all the other connections are almost against the wall.
I doubt I have anywhere near the current firmware. If downloading firmware would help then I do need to be able use my Mac to do so (I have seen download instructions for exe files and that won't work.
Thanks much. It would be nice to watch my small collection of Asian market DVDs.
