Hi Dave,

Sorry for the delay ... I'm just back from hols.

So far I'm very happy with the 9000 and that's without a proper calibration. With the new lamp I'm finding normal mode to be plenty bright. I'm saving torch mode for when the lamp dims.

I imagine you're feeling strangely uneasy that I know where you live. If you come home and find a bunny on the stove you know you're in trouble.

Hey Peter E..... when you say 'us builders' are you including yourself in that mix? Just because you know all the suppliers, have a thorough knowledge of kennel construction and some drywalling skills doesn't mean that you can run with the big dogs. Small steps my friend. That includes turning up on time to build subs, wearing shirts not in lipstick hues and cutting up lots of wood. And spending all your money. Real HT builders have zero savings. And as for planning a family and letting that get in the way of your build.... mate we gotta have a chat.

LOL....I can only dream of a HT. I just keep building and building. I am too impulsive. I never can find my limit yet on speakers.But I do have a limit on bright colored shorts and other attire. biggrin.gif

Hi Ben,

Thanks for your continued interest ... all my Aussie mates seem to have deserted me ! eek.gif

Not much has happened lately ... it's amazing how much time can be taken up with the little stuff at the end of a build. I've been tidying up cabling, making small panels for around the doors, programming iRule, debugging an annoying HDMI incompatibility between my cable box and processor, and lots of other bits and pieces that just don't deserve photos.

We've got a 4 day weekend so maybe I can get some new photos up ... maybe even a screen shot or two !! biggrin.gif

Wow I can certainly understand that. I have had a few loose ends hanging around for quite some time now but I am just too busy watching movies! It's definitely the little things that take the most time. And iRule is an ongoing experiment for me as well - I am enjoying it but it seems like I am always changing something and I haven't drilled down to exactly what I want in a single panel remote yet.

Good to see that you're still plugging away at it!
