Hi,

Great room - it has given me many ideas for a build I am about to undertake. I was wondering where you bought your masking system from? I live in AU as well and we don't have as many options....

Cheers!

Hi,

As Peter said it's from Aspect Masking. Designed and manufactured by Chris Young in Melbourne (look for member Prior on the DTV forum).

Incredible mate. The open space you have in that room makes it feel enormous. It's come out so well and I bet it sounds as good as it looks. Congrats on making it to this point.

Thanks. The distance to the side and rear surrounds is definitely a big factor in the way it sounds.

Thanks Dennis ! But don't forget it all started with a great design ! smile.gif So congratulations to you !

I've just returned from the CEDIA show here in Sydney and Gerben was the first to tell me of the win.

Please let me have your Downunder dates once confirmed. I hope to arrange an Aussie AVS get together. My calibration should be complete on 22nd Sept.

Sounds good! what are we watching?

I am in no position to slag off at anyone...... frown.gif

Who's doing your calibration. I wouldn't mind getting someone to help me with mine as I cant get the time alignment between the tweeter and mid right (rather I am having problems with the measurement)

Hi Peter,

Nothing's finalised yet but I hope we can get Dennis over to say a few words plus some demo clips. Don't think we'll watch the whole of anything. Another time for that ... I promise !

My calibration is being done by Jamie Turner who I was introduced to by Chris from Aspect Masking.

Congratulations to Peter, Dennis and Len Wallis, a well deserved win! A lovely projects from all aspects and we are of course very proud of our Procella P610. Everybody loves the P610, it was a winner from the moment it was launched!

Hi there Peter,
Congratulations mate. Really happy that you received the award.... your room and the award it received is a credit to all of your hard work, vision and persistance. I feel sure you will probably never move! Congratulations also to Dennis for his great design. I am really looking forward to the Aussie Get together. Should be a good night.
Sorry that I have not been on-line lately. Just snowed under with other projects. Seem to keep knocking down walls and building more bathrooms in my home than people living there. Maybe it's some strange nesting behaviour?
Anyways, well done again my friend. Let's catch up soon. Fat Yak and Pink shirts all round!

Congrats Peter,

Those pictures are amazing.
Just a quick question I couldn't find an answer to was what fabric did you use on the screen wall around the screen?

Photos look great Peter. And Peter the Greek.... arent you lucky Peter M didn't seek your help building that screen. I thought that 145 inches was big. Do you think Peter is maybe compensating for something? smile.gif

Hi Craig,

All my fabric is Trilogy 1 ... the screen wall and the first column of panels on the side walls are Oxide colour.
