Yes, I am well aware of what a dissolve is. In the DVD transfers, the image dissolves from orange to green, and then dissolves from green to blue. There are no fade-to-blacks or near-fade-to-blacks. That said, I do not pretend to be familiar enough with this movie to know whether the green is supposed to be there, or if the image was always supposed to dissolve straight from red to blue. That's why I was asking.
Both Blu-ray transfers are clearly incorrect. I'm not arguing that.
