Sure is, Jeff. I always set my subs to 79dB at the beginning (I prefer them to be trimmed down a bit in the 5509 - in fact they come in at about -1 or -2dB).
The only way to be sure to see this bug is, prior to running a Pro cal, set the sub distance trims in the prepro to something really way out - say 1 foot for Sub 1 and 20 feet for sub 2. Something that is sure to be way off from a finalised cal result. Then run Pro. Pro should ignore all the prepro settings of course and set the sub distances to the correct values. In fact, what happens is that they remain at 1 foot and 20 feet. I would not have noticed this if I did not manually change them after running independent measurements. Presumably for the first cal, Pro just left my subs at whatever XT32 had previously set them at and I would have assumed that was correct, rather than thinking Pro had not set the distances at all.
It is entirely possible of course that this is a bug in the 5509. Either way, if someone acknowledges it, it stands a chance of being fixed.
I am disappointed that the sub distance bug wrt to reloads was reported to Audyssey months ago and they have not responded with a fix. It's this sort of thing that makes me lose confidence in a company. The usual next step after that is I seek alternative suppliers. I don't want to do that with Audyssey, but I have still lost a degree of confidence in them and it has made me at least look at the alternatives such as ARC and Trinnov (and TacT soon in the new Emotiva prepro - although I am pretty unlikely to buy a prepro from Emotiva I have to admit).
