Well the front panel of my NAD C565BEE stopped responding. I was only able to operate the CDP via remote. NAD said they had a bad "batch" where the connectors to the front board are bad. So just a heads up for anybody who own the 565, call your dealer and have them replace the connectors.

Well round two for the 565. Similar problem as before, but now it extends to the remote. The funny part, I'm using NAD's C515BEE as the backup. How is it that the $300 CDP is more reliable than the $800 CDP? DO NOT BUY THE C565! This unit is flawed! The C515, however is fantastic. No problems at all.

I just purchased the 565 two weeks ago and all is well with the display. I have found this unit to be one of the best I have or have heard. I also own a Marantz SA15S2 and the sound from the 565 is very, very close. The sound is full bodied. I am still playing with the right filter to choose but so far, I am very pleased.

I've been messing around with the USB drive recently, trying to get into the digital niche. I've read that the 565 can play WAV. files, but I can't seem to get the darn thing to play them. Any ideas? I have the files stored on iTunes. I've contacted NAD and am waiting on a response, but they tend to take a couple of days to respond so I thought I'd ask you guys here in the mean time.

Well NAD got back to me and the C565 does NOT support Wav files. There is some serious conflicting info on the web regarding this.
