Lookin' for a little help here folks. When playing an MP4 video file from an Argosy Hv335t media player, I can barely hear any of the dialog. But the background music and effects are robust. Not so with any other file. AVI, MKV, MVW, are all rich and loud.
Could it possibly be the set up ? This is what I have. HDMI from the media player to LCD TV. RCA audio connections from the media player to a Phillips sound bar. Is there any reason this set up would give me a weak dialog, while providing great effects and background music ? This particular sound bar does not have HDMI connections. Only RCA, coaxial and component connections.
