My posting history is available to all, and to the best of my recollection I don't start political confrontations, but if others post opinions I have a strong disagreement with and I feel they're directed at me in a roundabout way, I will respond. Generally, though, I've learned to let things slide.
Too often it's the person who responds to obnoxious posts that gets in trouble, but that comes with the territory of posting on forums. If people want to take shots at others then they need to be a man/woman and take the heat when criticism is thrown back rather than run to moderators to settle the situation. If people can't finish what they start and accept the consequences, then maybe it should be left unsaid to begin with.
I'd like to think I'm done with this.
