I got the back and one side done, before I ran out of time today. The bad news:
I got witness lines on the side, near the bottom. Now the Fix:
I carefully colored the witness lines with a brown sharpie marker, then rubbed the marks with my finger to blend it in--and the witness lines disappeared, as you can see in this next shot. Oh, and I applied some Ice wax.
I used a shop light for this shot, since the sun had gone down.
I zoomed in for a really tight closeup, but the camera stopped working. A likely story, I know, but I have the battery in the charger and I hope that's all that's wrong with it.
My wife and I both looked very closely at the affected area, and we cannot see it--even when we know exactly where to look. Saved by a sharpie!
