I noticed your pics didn't show the center speaker cabinet. If you're hoping for some level of confusion that leads toward delivering that speaker to the wrong location, I do have a map and can find New York state on it if I must. Just keep that in mind.

:P They could show up here today, although, FedEx never delivers early out here. UPS does, but FedEx likes to hold on to the packages as long as they can.

I have on my Phil3. I don't think the difference is significant.

If no one has, I can if you'd like me to. Personally it makes little difference to me. The Phils are gorgeous, and like a fine women should always be naked. :P

Why must the fates taunt me?? The FedEx Home Delivery truck pulled right in front of my house! My jaw was on the ground; I was stoked. He walked to the house next door, dropped of a small package and left. FML.

The Phil 3 grills have a lot less real estate than the Phil 2 grills. The latter will introduce a peak and a dip of several dB in the lower highs, although this does go away off axis. To be honest, those Phil 2 grills don't fit very well because of the decorative face plate around the midrange. I didn't take that into account when I spec'd the baffles. Anyhow, I don't know why anyone would want to cover up a RAAL. We're both paying a lot of money for those puppies.

given that it's a large package, i'm willing to bet it's placed at the center of the delivery truck. IOW it will be delivered at the very end of the driver's shift, if he starts at 8, probably around 4:30
