Can anyone who've heard them make comparisons between the Songtower RT and the Philharmonic 3, please?

besides the cabinet differences , of course ..

I was planning Salk HT3's as my dream project...but after reading about Phils, i could get my HT setup sooner than i thought.

Dennis Murphy states the PHIL 3's are rated for 4-6Ω impedance.

If anyone has some Phil 2's or 3's near Washington State (not D.C.) -- please PM me, am very interested in hearing the Phil's soon.

Dennis Murphy at Philharmonic Audio has more measured "Anechoic Chamber" measurements on his Web Site, than the Salk SoundScape 12's at $14K per Pair. In fact, I have yet to see any other Mfg. put together that much data for one to review prior to purchasing some "DREAM SPEAKERS".

You can really see how passionate Dennis is about Audio and the speakers overall measurements.

Once we get some REVIEWS of them of which should be coming soon, we all will have a better feel for all that Measured Data!

I just boxed up a pair headed to Pier 69 in Seattle, and then onto a ferry to someplace that couldn't be too far away. Of course, the dude may hate them. Or Fed Ex may eat them.

The thought of Fed Ex eating a pair of Phils makes me weep on the inside. :P

Has anyone received their Phil 2 or 3's there, we all would really appreciate a review/writeup of your experience.

It appears the Philharmonic Audio site is down(?).

Its up and running for me.

Sometimes when I use my wifi the site appears down, when I switch back to 3G the site is up. Very weird. Try again in a half hour. It should be back up again.

I've been trying get on all day. Worried the site may have been hacked. Hope not.

Hack Hack, Cough Cough They're refinishing my floors upstairs. Very dusty. I haven't had any trouble getting the site whenever I've tried (and the last attempt was a minute ago). But others have reported problems with it and the e-mail. I've alerted my webmeister and he's trying to figure out what the issue is.

The Philharmonic Audio website is down for me just now.

Dennis, do you know if your hosting company recently changed anything?

We've contacted the host, and they claim nothing has changed and there's no problem at their end. Weird.

I use OpenDNS, and philharmonicaudio.com resolves to 65.181.151.137, and doesn't work.

For those of you that are able to get to the site, what are you getting for the address?

Same situation here. On the phone it opens right up, on the computer at home it will not open at all.

Try clearing your cookies. Didn't you have a similar problem when you went to nasty midgets.com, Curtis?

Sometimes for me it doesn't load when I use WiFi at home, but when I switch to 3G it loads easily.

That's because the two networks are using different DNS servers.
