Just finished it. I am surprised at the negativity. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Seen better movies, but I loved the lack of shaky cam throughout and that I could actually tell what was going on in everything from the car chases to the fight scenes (and the fight choreography was well done). Also, liked some of the 'silent' scenes where the music took precedence such as the foot chase scene and one of the shootouts early int he movie....added a bit of style that I liked.
Wisely they kept Gina's lines to a minimum since she's not a great actress, but she was passable for the most part. She sure is nice to look at though.
Plot was obviously lacking in areas, but it was good enough for me....pretty typical for this type of movie.
Anyways, glad I watched it...Refreshing to see action scenes that don't rely on tight shaky cam shots.
And only because I'm bored and can't sleep, I'll respond to this stuff (and don't get me wrong, I'm all for nitpicking)

I loved that scene. I know you probably wanted it to say "1 Year Later" or something and then have 15 minutes where she tracks cell phones or hacks a computer or shakes down a local to find him, but I didn't think it was necessary. I just assumed that somewhere between the previous scene (where she vows to find him) and that scene (where she finds him), she was busy doing something to find him, and I didn't feel I needed specifics. In fact, I was expecting it to go into specifics, which is why her appearing on the beach like that surprised me and I liked it.
I actually rewound to watch that part with her running up to him on the beach again because I thought it was a great shot composition (I will give you the Ewan climbing the rock face for some strange reason though...that was ridiculous)

I liked them hitting the deer, but could've done without the smart comment immediately beforehand. I wish that chase scene would've gone on longer though.

I believe she knew him and worked with him for quite awhile (not just a few days). The only reason he beat her up was because he was mislead into thinking she had gone rogue.

I can see why that would bother you, but it doesn't bother me. Just because someone puts on camo, doesn't mean they have to take down 40 guys. I know Hollywood has kindof engrained that when an actor camos their face, that's what you should be expecting. But I fully suspect that in real life (disclaimer: not implying this movie is at all realistic), that even if a Navy Seal was taking out one person, they'd still put on camo...because hey...better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it, right?
Again, not saying it's an outstanding movie or anything, but just figured I'd counter some criticisms. Like I said, I enjoyed it.
