PS3 stopped turning on. its been sitting in the corner for a while so wonder if i can get some help to get it going.
i have a new power cable.
it powers up, light is on. when turning it on the green light is on for 5secs then a yellow light flashes quick (and it beeps 3 times) before it goes flashing red and you can hear a switch-off noise goes off.
after reading how to reset on here - hold power button for 5 secs, i managed to turn it on but no screen. i could load and unload a disc... so i went to reset again for the screen with the original cable that came in now its back to flashing red again. it wont turn on.
i turn main power off then on, then power button on to reset - no luck.
any help please?
