Speaker set up for Personal Training Studio

Hey guys,

I am opening a Personal Training Studio and looking for the right speakers to give good quality sound at an affordable price. The studio is 125 square meters and almost square. I have seen the Bose specialists who have suggested the ds100 freespace speakers but I have also been told YAMAHA is the best.

So Im looking for an amplifier and 4 speakers (I think, what I have been told) to give sufficient sound.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The bose "specialists" are no more special than the guys in blue shirts at best buy. Steer away from bose unless you just like overpaying for items that underperform.

The biggest questions are what's your budget and do you care if they're big? Also some things to think about are how often and how loud you will play them and for what length of time. If this is going to be something played loud for several hours a day I might suggest going with some pro audio speakers and amps. They'll last for years and are made to take a beating.

Thanks, I was looking for something under 3k if possible. Size would be better if they were compact and fairly hidden. In regards to how often they will be played, they will be on all day every day at a moderate volume, to be used for background noise and workout music.

A lot of gyms near where I live tend to use in-ceiling or wall mounted outdoor speakers (mounted indoors) for background music. Take a look at Boston Acoustics Voyager 6 or 7. I have 3 pair of the Voyager 6 hooked up outside my house and they sound very good. A decent receiver (100W+) will power 2 pair easily for what you are looking for
